Emails and contacts
Lists, campaigns, automated sequences, and above all tags to segment precisely who gets what.
Tool review
We've used it every day for several years: emails, funnels, courses, payments. It's an excellent tool, and it doesn't suit everyone. Here's what it actually does, what it really costs, and the two cases where you should look elsewhere.
Software that brings together what used to take five separate subscriptions: sending emails, building sales pages, hosting a course, taking payment, and running your affiliates.
Its founder, Aurélien Amacker, built it to solve his own problem: he was paying for half a dozen tools that had to talk to each other, and something was always breaking somewhere. The promise comes down to one phrase — a single place.
Lists, campaigns, automated sequences, and above all tags to segment precisely who gets what.
Landing pages, sales pages, thank-you pages, with the sequence between them and the follow-ups that go with it.
Module hosting, student access, progress tracking. Enough to sell a digital product without another platform.
Built-in programme, tracked links, commissions and payouts. It's the module most often missing elsewhere.
This video is seven years old: the interface has changed since, but the logic of the tool hasn't. It's still the best way to understand the funnel, email and payment sequence before you start.
This is the point most comparisons leave out. Systeme.io takes nothing from your revenue: the only fees held back on a sale are Stripe's or PayPal's. Against a platform that takes 5 or 10%, the difference becomes enormous from a few thousand euros of sales onwards.
The real advantageEvery contact carries labels based on what they did: page visited, product bought, link clicked, course finished. You then build your campaigns on those criteria rather than on fixed lists. That's what lets you stop sending the same thing to everyone.
SegmentationNot a fourteen-day trial: a permanent free plan, capped on contacts and funnels. You can build your first product, make your first sales, and only pay once it gets too tight.
€0Setting up an affiliate programme elsewhere means one more tool and a fragile integration. Here it's inside the product, with commission tracking. The founder applies the recipe to himself, paying his own affiliates 60% for life.
IncludedThe first paid tier went from 27 to 17 dollars a month in 2025. That's rare enough in software to be worth noting, and consistent with the audience it targets: people who haven't sold anything yet.
$17/monthThe main argument for an all-in-one isn't the price, it's no longer having five tools joined by bridges. When a payment, an email and course access all live in the same place, there's no link left to watch.
A single placeThe headline price is never the full cost. Here's everything that comes out of your pocket.
A review that only lists strengths is worth nothing. Here are the two serious reservations.
All-in-one has a technical price. A tool that does ten things adequately rarely does any one of them as well as a tool that does only that. If your business rests on one specific module — very advanced email marketing, pixel-perfect pages, complex automation logic — you'll end up feeling cramped. The right instinct is to ask yourself which of those modules is vital to you, and to go and see what the specialist in that field does.
Artificial intelligence arrived late. The founder acknowledges it himself. Since 2026 an MCP server lets you run your newsletters from ChatGPT or Claude, and a built-in assistant is in the works, but the tool wasn't ahead on this front. If you're expecting deep built-in content generation, check where the feature stands at the moment you read this rather than trusting this page.
One last thing about online reviews: a lot of content about Systeme.io is written by affiliates who earn 60% of the price for life. That isn't disqualifying, but it explains why so many "comparisons" reach the same conclusion. As for us, we use it — that's a bias too, so we may as well say it.
You sell a digital product, a course or coaching, and you want everything in one place with no commission on your sales.
You're starting out and don't want to pay anything before your first sale. The permanent free plan exists for exactly that.
Your business rests on one module pushed very far. A specialist will do better, even at the cost of an integration.
You sell physical products with logistics. That isn't this tool's ground; a normal online shop will suit you better.
After several years of daily use, the reason we stayed is neither the price nor the feature list. It's the absence of a weak link: no bridge between the payment and access to the course, no integration to watch between the email and the funnel. When a sale lands at three in the morning, everything fires without anyone having to check.
No, none. The only fees held back on a sale are your payment processor's, Stripe or PayPal, which you'd pay anyway. That's the most concrete difference from platforms that take a percentage: at high volume, the gap runs into thousands of euros a year.
Yes, and with no time limit. It's capped on numbers of contacts and funnels, not on days. So you can launch a first product and take your first sales without paying any subscription.
Yes, that's the audience it targets. Pages are built by drag and drop, and our ready-to-import templates save you from starting with a blank page.
Unfavourably on each function taken separately, favourably on the whole. A dedicated email tool will beat its email module; but you'll then have to connect it to your payment platform, your course hosting and your affiliate tool. That assembly is what Systeme.io avoids.
Aurélien Amacker, a French entrepreneur based in Lisbon. He launched it in 2018 without knowing how to code and without investors, putting in around 200,000 dollars of his own money. The platform now passes three million accounts.
Your contacts export, your pages don't — that's true of every funnel builder, not just this one. The real cost of switching is rebuilding the pages and the automations. Worth weighing before you build fifty pages, not after.
Inside the member area you'll find what goes with it: what to sell, who to send it to, and how to fill each page so the funnel converts.
