Net worth
Not public
A page about him is only worth its rigour: he has a considerable audience and many satisfied students, and his sales promises and the price of his programmes are regularly criticised. Both are true, and this profile says both.
Four figures, four misunderstandings
These are the amounts you find everywhere about him. None says what people make it say.
250 million euros
The claimed total of the revenue his students have made with their own businesses. It isn't Mindeo's revenue, and it obviously isn't his. It's a sum of results reported by third parties.
30 million euros
The cumulative revenue his various activities are said to have generated since the start. Revenue spread over years, before costs and tax. Some podcasts put it at forty million; the figure he uses himself remains thirty.
5 to 10 million
The range the Swiss business magazine Bilan placed him in when he was twenty-four. It's the only estimate from a serious business outlet, but it is several years old and his situation has changed a great deal since.
The Forbes article
The famous "from broke student to millionaire in a year" from 2019 is explicitly presented by Forbes as paid content, not as editorial reporting. That's the nuance almost every biography leaves out.
His current net worth therefore can't be established. Multi-millionaire is plausible given his companies, his property and his investments. A precise amount, no — and the ten, twenty or thirty million you read elsewhere almost always confuses cumulative revenue with wealth.
His path, step by step
Social housing in Lausanne
His father arrives from Nigeria with no papers and no French, goes back into education and finishes at HEC Lausanne before leaving to work in London. Yomi grows up in social housing, and says he discovered as a child, through spending time with a family of entrepreneurs, that another standard of living existed.
The army, then HEC
Eight months as an infantry grenadier sergeant after selection, a period he draws on for his talk about discipline and workload. He then starts a bachelor's in management at HEC Lausanne.
An agency making €4,000 a month
During his studies he handles advertising for bars, restaurants and nightclubs. First client signed in three weeks. But the business hits a ceiling, because his own time is the limiting factor. So he looks for something else.
2017: the online stores
He finds products, builds stores and sells through advertising. In watches, a saturated market, he explains that he differentiated himself by switching to video while his competitors stuck to still images.
The video that changes everything
"From broke student to millionaire in a year" passes 2.5 million views. From then on, his audience becomes as important as his stores. Questions pour in, he creates a first course — which becomes Ecom Pro.
2021: Minea
A competitive-intelligence tool for online retail, launched with Cédric Jacot Descombes. It adds recurring revenue to a model previously built on launches.
What he runs
Mindeo
The course platform co-founded with Cédric Jacot Descombes: online retail, business, property, investing. More than two hundred hours of content, several dozen staff, day-to-day management handed to someone else while he remains co-founder.
His foundation
Minea
A competitive-intelligence tool: products, stores, ads on the major platforms, creatives, trends. More than a hundred million ads in the database. The same ground as Trendtrack, with several years' head start.
Since 2021
The AI agents mentorship
His 2026 offer. A free course in late 2025 on building automations without coding, an intensive five-day workshop in January, then paid coaching to build an agency selling AI agents to businesses.
The current project
IYI Holding
His Swiss entity created in 2020, with 100,000 francs of capital, whose purpose is holding and managing stakes. He is still listed in its management.
Holding company
His investments
Property, equities, cryptocurrencies since 2017 according to the Swiss business press, and digital products. He presents property and digital as his most passive sources.
Investments
His foundation
Registered in Nigeria as a non-profit, it runs educational programmes for young people around technical and financial skills. He is its president, his brother treasurer.
Nigeria
What to know before buying
He sells expensive programmes to a very large audience. Here is what an honest profile has to spell out.
His launch mechanism is always the same: a lot of free content, a free online event, then a premium offer presented with a strong sense of urgency. Phrasings like "ten thousand euros a month" or "before the market saturates" are part of the sales method, not a guarantee of results.
In January 2026, the Swiss daily Le Temps followed his AI agents workshop and then the sales funnel leading to the mentorship, and analysed its commercial mechanics. That kind of scrutiny doesn't say the product is bad: it's a reminder that the promises on display are not observed averages.
The rule applies here as elsewhere: some students get results, many don't, and nobody publishes the distribution. Look at what you're paying for what you receive, not for what is promised.
His mechanism, unchanged for eight years
The products have changed four times, the method never.
Spot it early, occupy the ground
Online retail in 2018, software in 2021, investing after that, AI agents in 2026. Every time he arrives before the wave and produces an enormous amount of content while it builds.
Free first, premium after
Free content, then a free event, then a high-ticket offer. His audience is his acquisition channel, which saves him from depending on paid advertising — the exact opposite of what he taught at the start.
Course first, asset after
He built a media and education empire before adding software to it. Manoah Labranche followed the same route, and Marc Lou the exact opposite: the product first, the audience as a consequence.
The September 2026 controversy
After his presence in the environment of ZEvent 2026, the streamer Ponce publicly criticised the promotion of certain figures and described Yomi Denzel as a "far-right masculinist". He rejected both labels the same day, saying he had been confused with another creator. His reply reached several million views.
These are public statements and a denial, not established facts. A profile can neither adopt the accusation as its own nor pretend it didn't happen. On his financial contribution to the event, he showed a 2,000-euro donation himself, while some rankings credit him with around 6,000 euros in total.
Common questions
What is Yomi Denzel's net worth?
It isn't public. The only estimate from a serious business outlet placed him between five and ten million at twenty-four, and it is dated. The higher amounts you read elsewhere generally reuse the cumulative revenue of his businesses, which has nothing to do with wealth.
Does he have a Harvard or MIT degree?
No. He studied at HEC Lausanne and spent a semester at Harvard as part of his course, taking at least one class at MIT while there. An exchange semester and a degree are two different things.
Does Mindeo make 250 million euros?
No. That amount corresponds to the sum of revenues his students report having made with their own businesses. No independent verification accompanies that total, and it says nothing about Mindeo's revenue.
Has Minea been sold?
Not as far as we know. He explained in 2023 that he had consulted an investment bank to assess a sale, and turned it down for lack of a sufficient offer. No public sale has been announced since.
Is he still doing dropshipping?
It is no longer the core of his business. His 2026 offer is about AI agents, and his channel now covers business, money and social topics as much as online retail.
What's worth watching right now?
What becomes of his AI agents offer. It's the fourth pivot of his career, and the first where the market he is targeting — businesses buying automations — isn't made up of individuals looking to get started.
